Co-owner Debbie Sniegowski has 20 years of experience as a caregiver, and has always loved to care for the elderly. Butterflies Are Free provides residents with a secure, relaxed, and homey atmosphere; and we respond sensitively to the evolving needs of our residents.
An individual service plan is done with each resident, including input from the resident's doctor, relatives, or representatives. This service plan not only addresses medical and therapeutic needs, but also embraces the cultural, spiritual, emotional, and social preferences of our residents.
Our care home is registered and licensed with the City of Surprise and Phoenix, and complies with all regulations of the NCIA (Nursing Care Institution Administrators) board as well as the Arizona State Board of Nursing. The facility is fully equipped with fire sprinklers, a monitored fire alarm system, roll-in showers, a water softener, and RO drinking water. All residents' rooms have a TV available with satellite.
Our staff is trained and supervised to provide the highest standards of care. Their training includes first aid, medical emergency, safe moving and handling of patients, and care of the elderly. Additionally, we provide in-house training on issues such as:
|• The Care Code Conduct
• Residential Confidentiality
|• Residents' Rights
• Health & Safety
|• Food Hygiene & Safety
